Skyworks Ltd.  has recently signed an agreement with the Chinese Central Newsreel and Documentary Film Studio to produce and air the series ‘Flying Views of the World’* on CCTV Channel One and over 80 syndicated TV channels throughout the PRC. This 3 month series of daily shows will air in 2009 and is looking for a commercial partner. The CCTV agreement provides an outstanding package of commercial airtime and sponsor benefits.

‘Flying Views of the World’ is a series of daily 12 minute shows presenting the world from a new perspective. Filmed entirely from the air in high definition and using the latest in gyro-stabilisation technology each programme traces an aerial journey, giving us a bird’s eye view of different landscapes, cities and cultures in the world around us.

This landmark series, which is being premiered on Chinese television, will start with a series of 90 shows covering Europe. Plans are in place to continue the series to cover all the continents of the world, indeed filming of the entire United States of America is already well underway.

Flying Views of the World is completely unique to Chinese television and is produced by Skyworks, one of the leading HD aerial filming companies in the world and makers of programmes for the BBC, ITV and many other international broadcasters.

CCTV have offered an excellent airtime and promotional package for the eventual sponsor of this series. We would be happy to supply more details on request.

*note that ‘Flying Views of the World’ title is a working English language title only. The eventual Chinese name is being determined.
